Spar Caves on the West Coast of Skye will easily kill off a few hours should you find yourself lucky enough to have spare time on Skye. The caves are not far from Elgol so it worthwhile planning ahead and checking out the tide times to make the most of the day for your visit. Be careful on your way down and back cause it's slippy steep and a fall of the wee cliff is going to ruin your day at best. Even on a cold day the caves are pleasantly mild but particularly wet so make sure you've got a water proof and a good torch and beware of the tide times or you'll end up getting yourself stranded, and in winter you've a good chance you'll end up clambering over rocks in the dark to escape.The link below will help direct you get there should you fancy a visit.
